Stupid Guest Tricks

Does anyone else here have the Disney Infinity gaming system? We'd recently purchased replacements for malfunctioning Playstation 3 and a TV, and we'd told our boys to consider those things as our main new Christmas gadgetry, but I had some Disney Visa rewards points saved up -- and just couldn't let the Day go by without something new and cool under the tree -- so I purchased the Infinity starter kit and a couple of extra characters. We're just getting into it, but so far we're having quite a bit of fun. The opening sequence is AMAZING, too. I know Disney Infinity has been out for months, but I couldn't find any previous mention of it here. Anyone else using it?

We got it for the girls for Christmas. They are actually playing right now!

I was quite impressed by the demos I saw at Once Upon a Toy on my last trip, but I don't own a gaming system. I seriously considered getting one to play Disney Infinity, but it isn't available on the new systems and I'm loathe to purchase a system that is already obsolete. I'll reconsider if and when PS4 or XBox One versions become available.

We have a wii system and I was told when I was looking into buying the game, that the wii will be discontinued and the Infinity game doesn't run that well on it anyway. We were going to buy a new system just for that game and decided against it. I know it would have been fun, but we seem to spend a lot less time playing games and more time doing other family activities. Time will tell.
