A grand lady who worked hard to make sure that her father's legacy is remembered whole, and not in pieces.

I was saddened to see this pop up in my mailbox a little while ago:

"November 19, 2013, San Francisco, California—Diane Disney Miller, oldest daughter of Walt and Lilly Disney, has died in Napa, California at the age of 79 from injuries sustained in a fall."

Sorry Zazu, I see I posted the a note about this in a new thread about 2 minutes after you. We must have both been writing them at the same time.

I'm very glad she had been so active in carrying on the family legacy. Her family has made magic for millions of people and she will be missed.

Didn't Walt and Lillian adopt another daughter? If so, is she still with us?

Yes, Sharon. She passed away in 1993.

There are still quite a few living in the next generation, though. Diane and Ron had seven children, and Sharon had three. In addition, Roy DIsney had four. All of those people are still living, iinm.
