The other board was hacked, badly. While it was due to an exploit in the VBB software, one of the admins (that nutjob ktulu) is a security guy. He believes that in today's internet, a strong password is badly needed, and many account compromises would not occur if people picked better passwords...

So Freaking happy that this site is up and running again. Thanks to all who have influence over this site, past, present and future. While I have never met any of you (maybe I have without knowing it), I consider all of you friends and love the site. On with the stupidity!!!!!!!!!

To imbed YouTube videos, click on the box labeled "youtube" above the white box and click paste to enter the URL. Easy peasy.

Actually three different ways to embed youtube, just hover over the youtu* codes and they will tell you what to do :) I'm looking at yahoo and google, but I already had the code for youtube so it was an easy one.

I just noticed that the :dropmouth: smilie has been added to the standard list next the the text entry box. This is a major time saver as I use it all the time to respond to DisneyMom zingers.

I think it was hit and miss on what passwords converted, we just wanted to make sure that was mentioned in case there were issues.

My old password worked just fine. So happy to see the site up again, I can even forgive it being in gray. On with the show!
--edit-- I miss my picture of Tripod, and my karate kitties avatar, but what I've been given is pretty cute. Yes, I should be on the payroll--I could use the money, since they cut our EBT benefits.
