Ruining Mansion Magic

So I am standing in ER1 doing my job of looking as creepy as possible and eventually pushing the button. This woman carrying a young child comes up to me and says very insistant and very rudely "Where's the door?" I know she wanted me to tell her where the door was going to be and I don't like to ruin the experience for my other guests so I said. "This chamber has no windows or doors" She glared at me and said again with a rude and instant tone in her voice "The door when we get to the end of this trip" I just looked at her and shrugged. Her attitude made me want to help her less and less. She then nastily said "Thanks a lot" and stormed across the room.

Look peoples we know you know how a lot of the "magic works" but many of our guests don't and some who do like to keep the magic alive. I will not ruin the magic for other guests because you think I should.

On that note I was at groundskeeper with another castmember screening for wheelchairs. We were bored so we were singing scarols. This guy in the fastpass line walks up to us and says "I know that the ride is in a building behind the house, how do you guys get in" I respond "Through the front door" and the other cast member said "Look I'm not going to ruin the magic, if your looking for that answer I'm not going to tell you. We all go in through that door" she then pointed through the foyer enterence.

not true, some of you probly come in the back door, by the break room there, i mean come on it's a mansion, it has more than one door, it has to have a door to tha backyard, or rather rear graveyard (that little side one smells like doggy poo, and creeped me out the first time i saw it. oh well, you should have flipped out about someone putting a building up on the master's property.

Are you sure she wasn't looking for the "chicken out" door?

Maybe the kid was scared, and she wanted to get him out of there asap?

But he meant like door 4 and the super secret backstage doors...

And it was the ER the only way out was the way she came in. The kid didn't appear to be afraid (wasn't crying or looking distressed). Plus she was rude.

Its a daily occurance. Look people I refuse to tell guests how we work our show. It's magic.

On a lighter note a kid asked me while I was outside about the mansion. I was giving him the magic story. He said "So you make magic? That's cool!!!!" I love those kids.

The same thing happened to me last night right before closing... they didn't want to LEAVE but they wanted to know where the door opened at the bottom. I gave the same response you gave: "this chamber has no windows and no doors." It works better during Nightmare because the Ghost Host doesn't say it. 8)

Yup cause our usual ghost host is on vacation. You'll love the mansion Scream, it was wierd seeing you in green last night though, especially since I am used to seeing you as a pirate.

Ok, so i finally made it to go see mansion holiday, and i have to say i was extremely impressed... with ER1 (which i imagine looks the same as ER2 only smaller) as for the rest of the ride it wasn't bad, it reminds me very much of previous ones, and i was also impressed with the complete lack of a wait time (you had just come back up from a down time i think.) Well that's all i really had to say, where is the chicken out door, i want to go through it sometime and see if anyone freaks out. Oh and does anyone know if jason posts here, he was telling me he has jury duty in compton, and i seem to recall someone here complaining of the same affliction. Jason that also knows splash, and everyone gets him confused with some other guy in critter country Jason.

ER1 and ER2 are the same size...

Yeah GMC come visit when't I'm not working it....-cries cause she's unloved- Yeah I know which Jason you're talking about, the other Jason (Jase) works Mansion and Splash too, he's one of the Mansion trainers. And no I don't know if either one posts here.

Door 2A and Door 2B are the inside doors to the chicken exit. Door 2 is outside where the tombs are that say things like "Rustin Peace" The door empties into the portrait Hallway or right behind load 2. Next time you're in the portrait hallway look to your left to where the windows are and the green exit sign above a door. That's door 2A aka Chicken Exit or ER3
