I think the best one was having Ariel host a seafood restaurant. Fish are friends and food.

It's been a while since I've watched The Little Mermaid, but I don't recall the story ever indicated exactly what Ariel and the other mermaid ate since the fish and crustaceans were all sentient. Kelp perhaps?
