Malachi Throne will not be down for breakfast

He passed away March 13th in his 80's. He was a character actor who appeared in many things people may recognise. For SF fans he was in Outer Limits, Lost in Space, ST:TOS, ST:NG, and B5. He was in older TV shows like Ironside, Hawaii Five O, Rockford Files, Cannon, Big Valley, Rawhide, etc.

Not just in ST:TOS -- he had a voice part in the first pilot "The Cage," and appeared in the award-winning 2-parter they made from that, "The Menagerie," as Commodore Mendez. (Or, more accurately, as the mental projection of Commodore Mendez, since he was never actually present. Oh, oops, 47-year-old spoiler.)
RIP to a guy with one of the coolest names ever.
