Andre Cassagnes won't be down for breakfast

I missed this last month. André Cassagnes was the inventor of the Etch-A-Sketh and thus the source of many hours of enjoyment in my youth.

We had those, and we would spend lots of time moving the stylus back and forth across the screen, removing the silver powder to reveal the mechanism. We never got tired of doing that. We'd write our names on the screen as well as draw. Pretty cool toy, actually--but I still liked my Mr. Machine.

My guess is that somebody turned him upside down and shook him and he was gone!
