I want to be in a parade at Disney!
I think he would prolly rather be home passed out with a beer in his hand.

We love having it on the tube on Christmas morning. More so this year because we head to WDW on Jan 1.
A couple of years ago we went to the parade taping. My daughter was very excited about a number of her fav Disney channel stars performing. We were placed right near the stage in front of the castle. Then we found out that the performer on our stage was to be Yanni. After a 3 hour wait. She was crushed when we showed her a couple Yanni videos from youtube. We made a quick exit out of there and enjoyed our park day. watching the broadcast, there were a lot of bored kids watching Yawnni ! They spent a lot less time on crowd shots than at other stages. Most of the kids from our area had vacated by the time he went on stage. Those that remained did not seem impressed. Why would you pack a stage with an adult oriented performer with a bunch of under 10 year olds??

That's an insult to real adults everywhere.

The imagination movers would have gone over big. But they were shooting in Disneyland. There were other acts at WDW with kid appeal, but at least the kept Celine Dion confined to the Grand Florisian. That would have shattered all the glass on main street !

I don't know if she's welcome back on Main Street. Last time she performed in the MK, she stomped her foot and demanded we stop blowing the whistles on the train and riverboat while she was singing.

Management not only said, "No," they told us railroaders about the request. Boy howdy did we blow the whistle that day!

You just made my day ! I am so happy to hear that! Ive encountered "herself" and that hubby/manager weasel of hers on a couple of gigs. They treat their anglophone crew like dirt. Their francophone crew like equals. It was very odd. Lobster for the frenchies, deli tray for the hEngleesh !

I hope that monorails and watercraft were aware of this while she was at the Grand. They could add their unique tones to the recordings!
