Anyone else notice the post count doesn't always work?

Not that it makes a real difference since the posts themselves are going in, but I've noticed the post count doesn't always increment. It kind of surprised me when I went from "Lifer" to "Jabberjaw" so I've bene paying more attention to the post count. I was stuck on 502 for 2 posts, 504 for about 4 posts, and I've been on 507 for 3 now (maybe this will be 4  )

Just curious if anyone else has noticed anything similar.

Edit: Okay, when I posted this I went from 507 to 509.

Anything posted in the Sweatbox doesn't count. Not sure why.

Well, that seems like a reasonable explanation of the "when." :D:

If I remember right, it was decided that Sweatbox should not contribute to ones post count, as it's not really a conversation as in the other forums. We could discuss having that changed.

Why? Is there a post count contest that I wasn't told about? If so, what are the prizes?

No sweat :D: as far as I'm concerned. Things like that just tend to bug me without an explanation. I hadn't seen the pattern, but I saw part of a website that didn't seem to be working right. It's the systems architect side of me. Now I have heard the explanation, I have already let it go. Me, obssessive? Nah!

The Mayans predicted that would happen.

Well, that did it!!! At my age wishing away a day is not the usual procedure, but, if we get to mid-night I will be relieved.

Me too. The dogs always wake me up at 11 PM.
