So far it looks like the trains are CGI. Which is probably good thing for one of the scenes they showed...

Wonder how they got the permission of the property owner to do the movie. I heard they were so jelous of any other being the lone ranger that the proptery was dead. the owners of the property even once told the original actor that he could not be the lone ranger anymore. bont wear the costume and dont appear as him anymore.

Isn't the train a euphemism?
and I have to say that I'm thrilled that at the end of the trailer they had "Walt Disney Pictures" in instead of just Disney like Brave

Usually I think Johnny Depp is amazing in whatever he does, but that makeup he's wearing--UGH!!!! Jay Silverheels is rolling in his grave!
By the way, does anyone know why they chose the name Tonto, meaning silly, for the Native American character? The original radio version had an Englishman in the role, Jay Silverheels is, to my knowledge, the only NA to play Tonto in all the remakes.

They sure don't do it like they used to. Has anyone ever seen Buster Keaton's "The General"? They actually built a railroad bridge which collapsed under a locomotive as it crossed, plunging the loco into the river (and partially on the bank) below. It was horrendously expensive to do at the time, and the wrecked locomotive remained there until it was salvaged for scrap metal during WWII.
