It looks like I have everything in place to travel to WDW for the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society Meeting Sept 27 - 30. I have reservations at Wilderness Lodge.

Its been a while since I was down at WDW so any suggestions of new or changed railroad related sights would be appreciated.

Should anyone relatively sane (no axe murderers please) wish to meet and share theme park stories, perhaps I can tell some of them which I cannot put into writing... The employee who broke a broom over one of his staff's head in an argument over a co-worker.... The employee with the large earring whose situation ended with police actions.... The golf cart being driven up the interstate.... The employee who collided with a building in the company automobile in the park just minutes before opening time (He now works at WDW!!).... and so on.

Some of the nicest (seemingly) people I have talked with were murderers.

As to the train aspect, there are several posters here that are avid fans.

and those stories you have need to be shared!!!

I'm jealous! I'm going to miss the Un-meeting. Again. Enjoy the Carolwood Pacific Room, and of course, ride the rails. I expect a full report with photos, expertly recorded and edited video.

Oh, have fun!

The exhibit in the Carolwood Room was very nice. I got to chat with David Leaphart and some other fine folks. :locomotiv
