He was 89, and the chemotherapy was not successful, though he fought it for more than a dozen years. Thus no great surprise, but much grief. He was, after all, the man who took me on my first visit to Disneyland in 1958.
I'll be traveling to California for services on the 11th, and probably staying a week, if not two, depending on how much needs to be settled.
I hope I'll have a bit of time for unwinding at the Park; I expect I'll need it. At the least, I wouldn't mind getting together with some locals to hoist a few. The schedule will have to be flexible though, as I don't know what I'll be up against.
My access here may be intermittent, so email to [email protected] would be best, or PM for a cell number.
Try not to use up all the smilies while I'm gone!
