I've sent many people like that up on the Tower of Terror. Absolutely hilarious when you are operating that kind of ride.

Soooo.... how did they happen to get that video? Looks like it was taken from a spot the guest couldn't reach. Do they video all the people who ride? And if so, do they have permission to release it? Or was this just a set up?

Some rides like that have a mounted camera, and they sell the video. I suspect that's what happened here. And they usually do have permission- for example, the back of Kings Island passes state, "The holder of this pass... grants Cedar Fair LP permission to use his or her photograph/video image in advertising or other promotions without payment to the holder." Go figure!

Or if it's like the rides on 192 and I-Drive, they advertise pretty well that you can get that video, so you know you're being recorded. I would also guess that the camera has dual purpose: the video to sell you and to observe you as you ride.
