It is actually on the books. But tell that to the guys who do the airboat rides in south Kissimmee.Darksin wrote:I lived in Florida most of my life and never heard that.

Heck yeah. I love gator meat. It's like chicken but more lean.ktulu wrote:So, is Alligator on any menus?
Nope. Disney hauls them off to their Wildlife Preserve at Lake Butler and none have yet returned. I know of at least one 8.5-footer who made that trip.security officer wrote:if i remember right after 5-8ft they have to be put down due to homing instinct
Not at Disney, not since Boatwrights took it off the menu about a decade ago.ktulu wrote:So, is Alligator on any menus?
Hmm. Gonna have to try rattlesnake. And it makes sense, since chicken is of an aviary nature.Zazu wrote:I can attest that it can be tasty, but it's more like rattlesnake than chicken.

I think it was anything over 4-5 foot was a required state kill in Florida, then again that also varies by state so who knows if it could vary by county? Anything smaller is generally relocated from what I remember.security officer wrote:i have been to florida since 1999 so im surprise
