Things this video proves-
1) Florida attractions ARE more exciting than California's. Imagine if that Gator was in Storybookland?!
2) Wearing a pin lanyard detracts from your badness even if you ARE fighting off a potential Killer.....
3) Jaws theme is very appropriately used here :bruce:
4) Alligator Wrangling is NOT taught in Traditions......

It's possible that he was trying to keep it away while they were cycling out, though some how I doubt the managers wanted to stop the ride on a count of they would get lower guest counts

At any rate, that's really bad show to have a guy hitting a gator with a picker, and standing right next to the boats as they go by while texting. (yes, I know it's probably a company phone, but do guests know that?)

I lived in Florida most of my life and never heard that.

I'd be willing to bet he was probably trying to keep it occupied in a non-ride area to avoid an E-Stop, considering you probably can't unload with that thing floating around in the water like normal. All while waiting for someone from either the state of in-house animal services to show up to remove it. Granted, I never worked in MK so I'm just taking a while guess. ;)

Gators are no longer on the endangered list, we even have a hunting season for them. Generally speaking one is not allowed to harass wildlife, protected or not.

That was a tiny gator, less than four foot long. It is my understanding that WDW will usually call animal control to have any gators they find removed from the property. I bet Gatorland would have come to remove it for free and they are only about 20 minutes away from WDW.
