Stupid Guest Tricks

Anyone else going to see this movie? I went today as I had a free pass to see it at Hollywood Studios. It was a pretty good movie! We even got a movie poster at the preview.

I've had high hopes for it but I kept worrying Disney would very it from the book far to much. I'll go see it anyway and hope for not being disappointed!

Haven't even heard of the book until now. I'm planning to see it with my sister to see if the book might be worth checking out. (I'm currently trying to get her to try out The Hobbit while she's trying to get me to try out Hunger Games.)

Tolkin is a classic, their are much worse things one could suggest! It could involve sparkly vampires (excuse me while I shudder in horror at the idea)!

Hunger Games never really impressed me but a lot of people seem to enjoy it, I guess I'm just very picky about my books.

If you have a Kindle, Amazon has one of the John Carter collections on sale right now for $ .99. I believe it's the first 3 books which I personally think are the best :D:

My dad used to read those Tarzan of the Apes paperbacks when I was a kid. All I know about this John Carter deal is a couple of bus stop posters I've seen. One of a kid reading, and above his head is a dream bubble of the guy and those creatures that look like a cross between a gorilla and a prehistoric giant ground sloth, with the word "Read" over it. The other is the same guy pulling a chain, with the sloth-apes coming after him, and the ground is like red-hot lava. What's it about?

I'm so picky about my movies, the last one I saw in a theater on my own was "The Polar Express"; then I went with a group from my church last year or so, to see "The Secret of Jonathan Sperry."

Or, even cheaper than that. The first five are in the public domain, and available for free from Project Gutenberg.
