Halloween 2012

Hey guys and gals,

I was wondering about a few things and thought I'd ask the experts. It looks like we are headed down for the Halloween season again this year. Two days at Universal and HHN and 10 days at Disney's French Quarter. Now wifey wants us to dress up as pirates and reverse the roles to boot. This should be interesting, she never goes half a$$ed, starting to wonder what I'm in for.

Anyway, we don't want to spend the money for MNSSHP because we didn't think it was worth the money they asked for the last time we did it. Can we just go Downtown and walk around on the 31st or is there something better to do?

What is the average temperatures around the end of Oct? It would be uncomfortable as hell if it was too hot. Remember we are Canadians and are use to cooler temps :D: , in Oct '10 it was so frigging hot it wasn't funny but the locals said it was unusual.

That's all I can remember to ask at the moment, if I can remember any other questions can I continue to ask?

The weather can vary from year to year. The Farmer's Almanac has a weather history page, http://www.farmersalmanac.com/weather-h ... h-results/ where you can type in a zip code and a date. My guess is that it is going to be in the 70s, but it could be in the 80s during the daytime.

Thanks DountGoddess, had to convert it to Canadian. :D: I guess even the experts don't know if there is anything other than MNSSHP.

I think Celebration does some stuff, and there are plenty of other communities that, if you were to go trick-or-treating, no one would ever know you weren't local... And half the time, they wouldn't care if they did know. Do that in any other city on the continent and you would be a creep. But do it here and you're cool.

:D: I think we are too old to go Trick or treating BW. Amy is big on the costume stuff and would like somewhere to go even if it is to just walk around. Can you do that in Downtown? I know you can in the Magic Kingdom for the party but we can't justify the cost for what you get right now, on top of the 10 day park hoppers. I guess if that is the only place to go and hang out dressed up then we will need to save some more Toonies.
