Carousel of Progress SGs

We had to have sat in front of one of the dumbest families to ever ride COP. First, every time something slightly funny was said ("It splashed paint on my rump... uh... rumpus room."), the SG mother would laugh. And laugh. And laugh. Ever heard Hillary Clinton laugh? This SG has nothing on her.
Second, some of the most "duh" quotes I've ever heard.
"There should be a warning about it being dark in here! This is scary!"
"You know, the dog isn't real."
"I think this is the last one." (said while the narrator is giving the "please collect your belongings" spiel in the last theater)
Third, they talked through the whole show. Loudly. And about really obvious things (That's a refrigerator! Look, honey, it's a video game!). However, they also decided to give me death glares as I quietly whispered to my parents about something.
I really think licenses need to be given out in order to ride "intellectual" rides like COP.

OMG...does it worry anyone that CoP would be referred to as an "intellectual" ride? That would put these people they were riding with well beyond stupid into some comatose world of semi-conscientiousness.

EPCOT was "intellectual" and look what happened to it...
New for 2014: CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS staring LIGHTNING MCQUEEN! :D:
Oh, and remember your ABCs? Thank the Phonecians!

Every time I hear that, EVERY TIME, I hear, "Thank the Phoenicians, Mr. Bond. They invented it."
Jeremy Irons always had a voice that I could separate from Scar or any other voice he had played. Walter Cronkite... Well, what do I need to say? He and Irons gave the attraction a regal feeling.

Listening to the other languages on Spaceship Earth is just about the only way I can ride in semi peace.

I LOVE Judi Dench and enjoy her voice in the ride.

I wouldn't mind Dench if she didn't sound like she was talking to me as a small child.

I have two problems with SSE '07.
1. "I don't believe in talking down to children. I don't believe in talking down to any certain segment." --Walt Disney
2. It contains, by far, the worst wardrobe choice I've ever seen in a Disney ride.
