The GAC - How do CM's feel about them?

I'm very curious about this. I have a back condition that does not allow me to stand still for even short periods of time. If I do, my lower back goes out and I can't walk (without incredible pain anyways.) Because of this, I always get a GAC. To the naked eye, you couldn't tell there is anything wrong with me, as when I'm walking or sitting, I'm fine. How do you CM's feel about this? I for one, feel guilty getting a GAC, but I know there is no way I could possibly do a trip to WDW without it. And not that it should matter how much money one spends, but I do drop about $10K per trip, and I'd have to guess Disney would rather have that money than not.
I've encountered a couple of CM's who gave me a hard time about obtaining the pass. One told me "You can't stand in line? Wow, I wish I could use that excuse at the doctor's office." That really pissed me off.
