Mickey Tests Some Magic Words at Walt Disney World.

That was only a test for a limited number of guests, it'll be really neat once he starts speaking to everyone. I wonder how it all works.

Very very cool. But I worry about it damaging the magic when Pluto, Goofy , Donald et al are not able to talk at their meets. It seems to me it should be all or nothing for talking characters. Kids seem to readily accept that Mickey and friends are saving their voices for a show. Just because he can talk, doesn't mean that he should.
Home er I know the thrill firsthand of chatting with a living character. At Animatirs Pallete on the Dream, Crush singled me out for a chat about the dangerous bear (Duffy) who was sitting across from me at dinner. It was unbelievably cool!

That actually is pretty cool! Having Mickey interact vocally with the guests will really add to the experience.

yep, I just hope it is self contained.
having a puppethead would only be good for shows.
