Stupid Guest Tricks

Today I had a guest ask me if their party could use thier fastpasses for 2320 at 2300.

SG: What time can we use our fast passes?
CM: What time is printed on the ticket?
SG: 1120
CM: Please come back in 20 minutes. Have you been on the Jungle....
SG: it's only 18 minutes from now what's the big deal?!
CM: I Know it's late but we are very busy right now I have a lot of people waiting in line you'd be cutting in front...
SG: It's late my baby is tired and we payed $3,000 to get in today
CM: Wait you payed $3,000 to get in today?
SG: Yeah we got Premium AP's.
CM: So you can come back ANY day of the year then
SG: We're just really tired and I came to you to help us out!
CM: I'm sorry I know it's late but we are still very busy and it wouldn't be fair to everyone else.
SG: so what you are saying is no?
CM: yes I'm sorry.....

What I don't understand is why Premium AP's especially new ones think that telling me about how they payed so much to come back whenever they want will get them what they want. AP's you don't own DL you are a regular guest like every one else if anything I value the family that is staying at a resort hotel for a week and buying all the merchandise for their one memorable family vacation then the guest who is gonna come 40 times a year spend no money and complain all the time. the guest staying at the resort buying the tshirt and eating the expensive food is who pays my wage not the AP that payed pennies for the unlimited admission.

They're tryin to impress upon you how much more valuable their time and $$ is.

Yeah, that's entitlement. One reason I generally don't like APs.

SG: "WHAT!?!?! You're NOT going to give me my discount on this ice cream!?"

Me: "No, this cart is cash only and has no way of tracking discounts..."

SG: "Why don't you just do the math in your head, or are you too lazy to figure it out?"

Me: "And are you going to come with me to see my manager and explain to them why I'm short $x for doing your special 'discount' that you so firmly believe you should get?"

SG: "....."

Me: "That will be $4, have a magical day."

My premier annual pass cost about one tenth of that. If he paid that much he got ripped off. :D:

We were there,NOT at Indy, tho. Yesterday and today psychotically busy and no one playing nice. Got rammed twice from behind by Stroller Dad, who proceeded to tell me it was my fault for moving to the right(I was walking straight ahead)
Still had a nice time despite SGs, saw Flag Retreat and had dinner at DTD, saw Fireworks and waited patiently for HMH and saw Fantasmic while in line. Not all APs are naughty, and I DO spend too much money there ;)

I would've spent more if they would've gotten the Star Tours toys out in a more timely manner. I'm still waiting for the 1:18 scale Star Speeder 1000 to come out! I was gonna buy like 4 of those!
