Small World request

Does anyone have a layout for It's a Small World? I've figured out the basic layout from an aerial but I would love something more technical and precise. My significant other loves the ride and for his birthday in November, I hope to hand over to him an N-scale model of the attraction. I rode the ride 4 times Friday to videotape the scenes for research. 4 TIMES PEOPLE!! Haha. Hopefully it will turn out okay. I'll post updates if anyone is interested (unlikely, I'm sure). Anyway, any help would be appreaciated. Thanks Disneyland CM's!!

4 times? Ok even I won't summit myself to that kind of torture. As for a layout, I don't know who has one or where to get one. Good luck with your project.
(Actually I think Small World is cute....but the music gets to you and you hum it all day.)

Thanks for the support! I don't mind the ride that much - it was more awkward for me that I was riding alone and the same CM's were around. I was half expecting that someone would post about the loser recording the ride so many times. I hopefully have enough background to honor the original designs but go 'off the page' and make my own creative decisions so I dont' have to make the drive up anytime soon! LOL

They probably didn't notice, I see so many people a day come through my attractions that guests usually point out that they have been here before before I remember. And you are welcome. Once again good luck

Oh, they might've but it's not the first time we've had someone go on several times alone with a camera or video. Yeah, we think they're kinda strange, but we figure they've got their reasons.
We actually had a man propose to his b/f on Small World. I was actually instrumental in doing it. You see they wanted a boat to themselves but when they first came they had asked me up at greeter (well their friends did) if it would be possible and if was just enough of a line that the grouper probably wouldn't have done it without lots of explanation, which would raise suspicions, so I told them they should come shortly before closing, at which point the friend loudly announced this line's too long let's come back later. It was about a 10 min line at the time. :)

And I'm a dork cause I totally skipped the point of this line. What do you mean by layout? How specific do you want? Cause I can tell you the order of the rooms and such, but you probably already have that on video, I don't know how much more help I can be. If you did some forward facing shots, you can probably get all the turns and stuff.

I have the general layout of the building, but it gets tricky since the first part of the show building angles out before the ride transitions into the square part of the show building. I'm just such a perfectionist that it will always irk me if something isn't totally correct. But I'll deal with it! ;-0 It's just a matter of trying to figure out the size of each room, the proper turns of the trough - sigh, it's gonna be fun to work on, but a challenge to get satisfactory! Thanks for all of your help.

eBay right now.
Anyone know if the two are laid out differently?
There are
extreme differences between the DL and MK versions of this attraction. The WDW plan won't do you a bit of good.

Thanks for the E-bay tip Polar! I've checked every so often, but I haven't seen anything posted as of yet. A few weeks ago, someone posted blueprints of the Disney-MGM Tower of Terror. I almost bid on them but they were a bit pricey. Again, thanks for everyone's help!

Well, even though the significant other dumped me, I'm still working on the model project! It's coming along slowly but surely. Here's a link to some pictures. I'll add new photos as construction progresses!
