Talk about misunderstanding where a ride is.

I had a young couple asking me where the Simpsons ride was and if they could use their Disney park hopper tickets for it. I had to explain to them that it was at Universal and that it is a totally different and separate company from Disney. They were under the impression that it was located in Disneys Hollywood Studios.
I also had one guest asking when the ferry boat was added to the Magic Kingdom. I told him there always had been one since the opening of the park back in 1971. He told me he was here on the opening year and insisted that there wasn't a ferry back then. I still remember the real steamboat ferry that was originally used. There even are pictures of it inside West gate.

I believe Cypress Gardens had something like that (and I think LegoLand kept it). AFAIK Seaworld never has though they do have the observation tower, a 2 story cabin slowly rotates as it goes up the tower, it rotates at the top for a bit and goes back down.

OK, I can buy the observation tower, I might have the method of it rising confused but I knew it wasn't in Epcot...ever...!

That seesaw attraction could be Joe Cool's GR8T Sk8te in Camp Snoopy. It does have a seesaw motion to it. I used to work in Camp Snoopy, and other than the rides in the north end, Gr8t Sk8te was the only one I wasn't trained on. It was under construction when I was hired, and somehow I fell through the cracks when they were training people for it. The worst part of that ride is that lots of people and a few ROs got heat illness on that, because 1) the queue isn't shaded, and 2) the heat reflects off of the metal .

Feline, I took my grandkids on that ride last summer. I watched the hostess step on and then jump up and down with all her weight on the lap bar release. I told her she would end up with bursitis. I have that in my right foot from years of stopping Toad, Pinocchio and Snow White cars with my foot.

At DCA I always have people asking where the Shrek ride is, for some reason it's a popular question and they always look so surprised when I tell them Shrek isn't Disney.

Next time, give them directions. :twisted:

Go out of the park, and to where your car is parked.
Get in your car, leave the parking lot, and get on Interstate 5 North.
Take I-5 North to the East LA Interchange, and take US 101.
Go north on 101 to Lankersham Boulevard, exit, and turn right.
Go up the hill, and turn left into the parking structure.
Get out of your car, walk to the escalators, go to the ticket booths.
Buy a ticket for Universal Studios, and go down the red carpet and through the main gate.
Follow the walkways straight into Universal Studios until you come to a building on the right painted like a castle, with purple rails in the queue.
Enter the queue.
Follow the queue until one of Lord Fahrquad's henchmen escorts you into the torture chamber.

On night, I was talking to a lady while waiting for pyro at DL, whp said that her husband was one of the people who pragrammed the fireword and she insisted that one of the shows at WDW was called, "Reflections." I corrected her in say that it was "Illuminations," but she she kept saying that it was just, "Reflections." She was partially right since it's, "Illuminations: Reflections Of Earth."

Then there are the people looking for Dinosaur or Tomorrowland Transit Authority when they are really trying to find Countdown to Extinction and the Wedway People Mover. :p:

Countdown to extinction was renamed Dinosaur back in 2000. They must have been some old timers.

I am still looking for the killer Whale show in Rivers of American. Sea World is where you will find the show.

So, Ghost Rider is now at DCA, SG get your parks right or go and see if you can find Space Mountain at Six Flags.

Yes, Sea World does have the tall tower that you ride on and see the whole park.

Epcot? I did not see anything that looked like a tall tower.

They do have a hot air balloon at DTD and that goes up several feet, but I don't know how much you can see?
