Mickey Trailer Hitch covers

My wife had a DVC hitch cover on her car that she bought on ebay. Someone stole it in the parking lot where she works.

I looked high and low for a new one (not that i'm a big DVC fan) to bring some peace to our home. I finally found a polished aluminum mickey silouette but they wanted $399.99!!!! For a freaking plug on a receiver hitch.

Afyer doing some more research I found a company in CA that makes them. $30.00 plus shipping. Got one today and the wife is happy again.

Just a word to the wise, if you have a Disney hitch cover make sure you attach it with a bolt and locknut. These Disney collectors are ruthless when something becomes collectible.

That person would have to have a really large backside to use a hitch cover as a pin for trading.

That was weird.

When I read your first reply all it showed was the two words "Pin Trader".

When I checked your second reply it now showed the second sentence.

I wondered why you just wrote Pin Trader initially. Now I get it. :)

We just use a locking hitch receiver pin, although some kid was nice enough to rear-end us and launch poor Mickey. Never found him.

This is why I like message boards- I have 20 minutes to go back and edit.
If only I could do that In Real Life! :o:

I have a Stitch on my hitch, I keep that sucker locked at all times.

Then again I don't even put the little antenna bobbers on my truck anymore. People keep stealing them. So far they've gotten my Pirates of the Caribbean (The cool, non-mickey one) ones as well as TWO stitches! So I just stopped putting them on at this point even though I've considered gluing the suckers on there!
