SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KTLA) -- Authorities say a San Diego boy was hospitalized Tuesday after he was shot with an arrow fired by a passing motorist.

Police say the boy and a friend were throwing rocks at vehicles in the Linda Vista neighborhood when they got into a dispute with two other teens riding in a Toyota RAV 4.

The vehicle stopped and someone fired an arrow from a crossbow, impaling the teen in the abdomen.

The teen was taken to a local hospital and was expected to survive.

This reminds me of a video I saw where someone driving a car was trying to hit someone on a bike with his door and ended up falling out and face planting into the front bumper of another car(it looks like it was parked on the side of the road).

I can remember shooting cars with pea shooters when I was a kid, but we HID BEHIND SOMETHING.
