Re: We know when you're lying to us.
I would hate having to tell people to take off their hats or glasses just to go on a ride. I had to take off my glasses at Knotts Berry Farm, and I hated that. At my attraction, we warn them to hold on to everything, but we don't make them remove it. Of course, people drop stuff, but all we can tell them is to check guest relations at the end of the night.

I have had this happen at a place where I worked. It was after the third time the guy said he got the "wrong" item. I told him next time he needs a receipt.delsdad wrote:The jackasses will probably steal a receipt, or pick up a stray one from the trash !
Next day he gave me a crumpled up, ketchup stained one.

I have, on occasion, thought that if I had the money to spare, I wouldn't mind getting a pair of "sports glasses", the kind that basically strap onto your head like saftey goggles, for wearing on roller coasters and such.5th Dimension wrote:I would hate having to tell people to take off their hats or glasses just to go on a ride. I have a sports strap for my glasses that can be tightened to hold the glasses snugly to your head. It does a good job at keeping my glasses on. I don't bother with it at Disney as I've never felt like I was going to lose my glasses on any ride there but I do at Universal and Seaworld as they both have rides where I feel like I might lose my glasses.PatchOBlack wrote:I have, on occasion, thought that if I had the money to spare, I wouldn't mind getting a pair of "sports glasses", the kind that basically strap onto your head like saftey goggles, for wearing on roller coasters and such.
I like how it is adjustable so I can have it loose when not on a ride, which is more comfortable for longer periods.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

Those are good for sunglasses. They let me go down Summit Plummet with the glasses on when I showed the strap was tight.Shorty82 wrote:I have a sports strap for my glasses that can be tightened to hold the glasses snugly to your head. Use Chums. Recommended by sailors everywhere.
Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.
