The Rescuers ain't the only ones Down Under

Ladies and gentlemen, I have arrived in Australia.

More on that as soon as I recover from the flights and the unfortunate case of what seems to be food poisoning I came down with within hours of arriving.

Damn it, I was so careful, too. Must have been the freakin' croissant I gave in and ate on the 16 hour flight. Knew I should have stuck with the Rice Krispie bars.

Seeing familiar usernames/avatars here feels good when everything is so new and different...I'll be here three months (that's the plan anyway) so i'll be popping in a lot to see what you all are up to.

I'm thrilled, scared, and overjoyed to be here all at the same time. mostly I'm dizzy, but what else is new?

much love to all of you from way out here.
bru

ps when I 'land' have a story to tell you about how a young boy with a toy mickey really made my day when I was on my way here. . .

pps hobie, I blew you a big kiss on the cheek as we flew over your neck of the woods! :)

So when you recover, what's the purpose of this trip Bru? Tour or are you re-locating? I'm thrilled for you and would love to hear all about your adventures. Austrailia is somewhere that I really no nothing about, so I'd love to learn. :D:

That explains getting hit in the back of the head and being knocked into the pool. :D:

Hug a real wallaby for me. And a kangaroo (which seem to have softer fur anyway).

Good luck in Australia!
The all too brief time I was there last December cemented my love for the country and the people. The Aussies are incredibly warm and friendly.
Pet a Koala and a Kangaroo for me. (Tip on petting Kangaroos: scratch under their jaw and on their chest. Oh, and it doesn't hurt to have some food for them.)
