Wal Mart SGT

OK So I work at the Wally World (if National Lampoon's Vacation is to be believed it is a theme park). Today I had a customer come in the the front door and tell me that a man was outside playing with a gun. That's right G-U-N gun. I sneak a peak outside and as told there was some 20-something guy sitting on the bench playing with a gun, spinning it like Peter Weller in Robocop. Not to take any chances I RUN BACK INSIDE and call the cops. Thankfully from my phone I can still see him through the windows. The cops arrive, Cuff him and do their investigating.

Here come the SGT part. It turns out The "gun" he was playing with was just purchased in the store. It was an Airsoft Gun. As the officer said he was an "idiot" to play with it in public like that. I didn't ask if he was released or not.

Yeah, not surprising. IMO, painting airsoft guns "realistic" colors is one of THE MOST idiotic things done. California Legislation is in the process of making it mandatory that airsoft guns are painted a bright orange or entirely transparent. Its also a state law to have a bright orange flash painted on the muzzle of the airsoft gun right now. I'm hoping that they pass this law. Its California SB798 right now, a bunch of yahoos are saying "no" to it because it'll wreck their games they play, but with people like this guy, I am ALL FOR them painting the guns a bright orange or something.

They should have painted him bright orange as an idiot warning to others.

But then people like Freddie Wong would either have to use real weapons (which he doesn't like to do for obvious safety reasons), stop making his videos, or use stupid-looking orange guns.

^ I don't think things like non-firing replicas would be affected, those could be used instead.

Man vs. Katamari was pretty hilarious.

The humming of the theme was the best part.

I doubt that. There are obvious exceptions, and prop weapons on a set is one of them. I'm sure Freddie Wong (who is a master at making short subjects) makes sure to dot his i-s and cross his t-s before he films.
