It took awhile, but first I put my experience of living 19 years with my late cat Tripod down on paper, transferred it to my netbook on Wordpad, then last Sunday, with the help of my pastor, posted it on my blog on MySpace. It even has her picture that Delsdad was kind enough to fix for me. It's long, and I apologize for the lousy formatting, but feel free to read it and leave a comment. Thank you.

Beautiful story Felinefan. I still remember my first cat, Cookie like it was yesterday.
My parents found her being barked at by a neighbor's dog in Virginia, and we took her in to be a companion for my mother's cat Twinkie. Twinkie had been with my parents since before I was born... Twinkie was a gray and white striped cat, and Cookie (Going with a dessert theme there) Cookie was gray all over with green eyes.
Cookie loved chicken and sleeping and playing. She used to talk with broken meows to ducks in the back yard. Where my parents live, there are a group of houses surrounding a small lake. She had four kittens all gray and white striped, that all were given away when they were old enough to be on their own.
She also liked licking the concrete on the front porch at my parents' house, my mom said it was for vitamins in the dust or something like that...
My parents found her when she had passed away lying in front of their bedroom door... and my mother came to tell me, as I was doing homework- but I had heard Cookie cough before she came to tell me.
We buried her in my parents' side yard, next to Twinkie also long gone by the time she had passed away... I got to choose flowers to go on top of the gravesite... I still miss her and wish my husband had gotten to meet her.
:) :(
