Sorry to our Florida friends, but I had to post this for all our Dallas-area folks here. It's a crazy celebration here today -- we love our Mavs!

I read this morning that 90% of the US were for the Mavs because of the slimy move LeBron made.

How big of a bang did Cuban's head make?

Hah! Here in Denver (where I am currently visiting) there was much celebration at the bar we were at last night. Even the band that was playing said something and high-fives all around. Good times...

The problem with having a sports team in Florida is the sheer number of people who come here with their sports allegiances already in place. So not enough people really care when the Heat and Magic do well. Instead, you have someone like me who would like to see the days of old, when it was the Blazers and Bulls at the playoffs.

Dallas did add a lot of new fans during the finals -- most of them temporary, just wanting Miami to lose. That's okay, we'll take it. People love Lebron's talent, but most can't stand the arrogance. It was nice to take the Heat down a peg.

If you're on FB or Twitter you've probably heard most of these, but here are some of my favorite lines since the Dallas win:

- Dear Cleveland, you're welcome. Love, Dallas.

- I gave Lebron a dollar but he only gave me back 75 cents. When I asked him why he said, "I don't have a fourth quarter."

- The City of Dallas declared yesterday Lebron James day. Everyone got to leave work 12 minutes early.

- Manufacturers of Miami Heat bobbleheads have starting placing new stickers on them, warning that they may be choking hazards.

- Why didn't Lebron go to college? He didn't want to show up for the finals.

- Apple has introduce the new Lebron James iPhone. It only vibrates, because it has no ring.

There's also this:

But the best burn of all has to be the official one from the Governor of Ohio, John Kasich. It's worth reading!

The only sad thing about that, enough people in Florida are from Michigan that they won't see the insult in that.

No, I'm serious. I dare you to walk up to almost anyone you meet, and ask, "So when did you move down from Michigan?"

I'll bet they don't even hesitate to think about the fact you asked that question in answering.

Believe it or not, hubby is a Magic fan....has been since long before I met him. He's loyal to the Sixers, too, just not as much. On our honeymoon in 1997, he wanted to see a Magic's game....I told him I'd heard bad things about downtown Orlando and that was a "hell no". lol I still feel bad about that......

We always come in October now with no shot of him seeing a game. Hmm.....maybe I'll have to schedule us for a weekend in Orlando in November? I'll have to check into this....

(sorry....thinking as I type)
