I think the Canadian trying to find an ocean view room in Orlando might be a relative, lol. My mother still insists to everyone that I live no more than 15 minutes from both the Atlantic and the Golf of Mexico

Then again, they're trying to book a hotel room, as opposed to showing up at my front door *sigh*.

Isn't the Golf of Mexico a miniature golf course that features water hazards filled with guacamole?

I may be wrong,but I think Wombat brought this up a year or so ago.
I admit I've spent 'waaay' too much time over there.

Oh, really? It didn't turn up in the forum search so I kind of assumed there wasn't a thread on it. :x
If there is, I guess this thread could either be deleted or amended to that older thread.

Mayonnaise mentioned it well before me, but it's good to have a reminder every now and then. It's that good of a site -- and still a daily read for me.

Oh god yes, when I worked in Hotels outside of Atlantic City, NJ this was my personal favorite site to post my stupid "quotes" onto. I'll have to dig back and find some of them for you all to enjoy ;)

Thanks! Always looking for something to kill time in between calls (I work in a call center). Addicted already and I've only gotten through 1 page.
