There is breaking news that
Osama is dead and the US has his body. It's still early and I hope I don't have to retract the title of this thread, but I have to admit it felt pretty good to type it.
Remembering with prayer all the victims of 9/11 and the many heroes among our first responders and our military...

Next item on the agenda...find and kill the person that is going to replace him.
All said, it's a good thing he's gone, but he will be replaced and attacks will continue, they might be slow for a bit during the transition, but it will happen.

"President Obama. The United States has finally gotten revenge for 9-11. How will you deal with the rest of the Al Qaeda network to prevent the possibility of another leader taking Osama's place and causing another 9-11?"
:|
Yeah, doesn't seem like much of a victory here. Revenge isn't going to bring back those that were lost and it certainly won't prevent future 9-11s from happening.

I think of it as less revenge and more JUSTICE.

I can't celebrate a death, even Osama Bin Laden's, but may his state of non-existence bring some peace to those countless people who suffered as a result of his actions.
A little scared of the backlash that has to be coming now, though. Someone is going to be looking for revenge.
