Disneyland Better Prepare...

...Cause I'm coming in for a landing May 14th - 17th!
I'm a former WDW College Program'er though, so I know almost nothing about the California Location.

Can anyone tell me:
Their favorite Character Dining location?
When the best time of day would be to show up with 4 adults and a 2 year old?
Which rides I should Fast Pass and which I should stand in line for?
Whether World of Color or Fantasmic! should be priority?
...and anything else I'm too clueless to know I should ask?

Thanks everybody! I can't wait! :p:

I like Goofy's Kitchen for Characters, but Ariel's has Princesses and Yummy Tri-Tip!
We always get there at Rope Drop,Hit Adventureland after getting Space Mountain Fastpasses, then go back to Tomorrowland. Minimal lines that way.Fantasyland-unsure what is best. Have lunch, go back to Hotel for nap, then come out for Nightime Festivities. Choice between WOC and Fantasmic-Fantasmic, but can you do one a night?

PM me for more!Have a Great Time!

Fantasmic! is my choice. No pancho needed & much warmer. Plaza Inn has great food for little one as well as all ages. I always take my guests with children to P I. I believe they have a Character Breakfast from my DPI experience. Have Fun Tara & all. :)

Goofy's Kitchen. Ariel's Grotto if you want to spend the big bucks.

I say, late afternoon.

I like them both. That is hard to say.

Both Fantasmic and World of Color are great.
You should try to see both if you have time.

If you see World of Color, you should get a fastpass for it, that is the only way to get into the front-side viewing area. Also you do not necessarily need a poncho. It all depends on how close you are to the water. And it is not necessarily cold (no more than Fantasmic) Plus, at one point during World of Color, it gets plenty warm thanks to the effects! ;)

I have to say, recently the Village Haus restaurant in Fantasyland and the Hungry Bear in Critter Country have gotten new and improved menus!

I will probably have more to say later...

Oh, and of course be sure to check out the Disneyland Resort website for info on ride closures and such.

No? Then why do I freeze over there? ;) WOC is a spectacular, so yes, if time, see both. Will agree Hungry Bear & Village are both serving better food. Great fruit plates @ Village. Hungry Bear had a good dinner when we went for CM Christmas Party. Coke Corner is still a good quick filling snack. Guests can also watch parades in chairs if they are there 20 min or so before parade.

I don't know, maybe because its usually cool in the evening? :D: I don't think it necessarily has anything to due with the show itself.

I think it all depends on how the winds are.

I have seen WOC twice and was very underwhelmed. Once with a Fastpass (from dining) and the other time without. I think Fantasmic at DL is much better than the one at HS.

And, when you get on Main Street, your first question will be "Where is the Castle?!"
