Fewer than expected SGs. Yay!

We just got back from a fairly spur-of-the-moment trip to the World. Even though there were more people than we were used to (we usually aim for slower times), there didn’t seem to be a huge number of SGT’s in evidence. Oh, there was the usual assortment of “Assaults by Stroller” and “Sudden Stopping in a Travel Lane” and “Walkway Congregations.” There were the people who didn’t bother to figure out what they wanted before getting to a counter (food and GS). Just all the usual things. There were a couple of standouts worth mentioning though.

Group of teens on KS. Driver had to announce 4 times that everyone must remain seated. Then the kids start making loud animal noises. I won’t mention the driver’s name because I’m not sure if his solution was according to policy, but he stopped mid-spiel and said “Knock it off!” using “the voice”. Maybe former military or retired cop. It worked and I smiled.

Saw a terrifying sight in Epcot. Picture crowded walkways and a scooter coming full speed down the middle. With a kid standing in front of and facing the driver. And the driver ‘s head turned to the left and almost backwards. We didn’t actually witness them running anyone down, but it sure seemed like a matter of time.

Some drunk after midnight yelling to a companion on the Boardwalk just outside of our room. Grrr. We had an early call for a tour the next day. Would have liked to go by his room on our way out.

We had a great time though and thanks to all the CMs who made that possible! You guys are great.
