Stupid Guest Tricks

I've read books and visited websites on major disasters, and one of the biggest killers in the event of a fire is crowding, plus stuff in the way. Look at the Cocoanut Grove fire in 1944--overcrowded, only one small exit, flammable decor, etc.. Look at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire of 1911--too many tables for the sewing machines, locked doors, shoddy fire escapes, etc..

Seriously, if things keep going the way they are going in the world, something could happen and with all the stuff people insist on dragging in with them, there's going to be a mass event involving lots of preventable fatalities. I think Disney should restrict the number, types, etc. of stuff guests bring into the parks with them. If they don't like it, well then, tough! More room for the rest of us!

well, we also break fire codes by blocking fire exit at one resturant at DCA

It's also pretty ridiculous how old some of the kids in the strollers are these days.

Just keep in mind that some special needs children may look perfectly "normal" to the casual observer.

The older kids aren't all special needs kids.

Board X regularly has threads (pronounced "flame wars") about strollers, and a large number of posters are adamant that there's nothing wrong with getting a rental "double-wide" so that their 8 or 10 yr old can ride in it. The theory seems to be that the kids will get tired (and thus cranky and whiny) if they are forced to actually walk all over the parks...

So ... you're saying the children resemble AND act like wildebeasts?

God forbid that any of them should actually flex any muscle tissue. It sounds like a disaster.
