I think PDS has something to do with Parade Security or sometimes referred to as "Get out of the road, Le Dummy!" Of course, it would just be "Get out of the road, Dummy! if in the states.

Disney has no legal ability to take the video down, just to fire the people involved.

I believe that it's against policy for any photo or video taken backstage to be released to the public. (Mapo can likely elaborate.)

It is against company policy to take photos or video backstage at all excepting officially sanctioned photos/videos which are for internal use only. Taking photos or video backstage and any public distribution of internal photos, videos, documents, etc. can result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of all parties involved. This is the policy at WDW and I assume all Disney parks have similar policies.

Management can give approval for photos to be taken backstage as long as the backdrop does not reveal its location. This is not uncommon for entertainment, particularly for parades where it is hard for a performer to get an onstage costume. You must get very specific management approval though. This was not approved and therefore she will most likely be terminated.

Well It's possible that the laws regarding hiring and firing are different in France. Or that particular Cinderella no longer works for Disney. But what do I know?

Should Cindy have said to the photographer, "You aren't supposed to film me back here please stop." of course staying in character, but then what? Do a TMZ and shove her hand in the lens. Now that would make the news.

That is exactly what she should have done. This person obviously followed her around and this was a lengthy process. She should have point blank refused and then contacted management or security. The only time I have allowed myself to be photographed backstage was with management permission and my own camera.

As far as it being an evaluation video... I have not heard of that, although of course Disneyland Paris could have different procedures than Walt Disney World. Even if they did have an evaluation video, I can't imagine why they would need to take video of her backstage. I would also hazard to guess that it would be made with a company video camera and therefore stay on company property. It could be that a friend videotaped her performance, I have had friends do that before, but they should never have been allowed backstage.

Everybody in that video allowed it to happen, they made no move to stop themselves from being videotaped therefore they are at least partially culpable.
