Ron Patterson Will Not Be Down For Breakfast

Ron Patterson, who nearly half a century ago helped found the country’s first Renaissance fair, which inspired a thriving nationwide industry of jousters and jesters, hawking street vendors and brave men in doublets and tights, died on Jan. 15 in Sausalito, Calif. He was 80.

LOVE the Ren Faire(sp?) But when I took my 2 year old there,there were several persons who wanted to buy him as help for their farm
One guy said he was going to teach him about Sheep

A hunter bagged a moose with huge antlers. Thinking the head would look great on his den wall, he loaded the moose into his truck and drove to the nearest town. He pulled into a gas station and asked, "Where is the nearest taxidermist?"
"Next town up the road about ten miles." replied the attendant.
The hunter drove to the next town, pulled into another gas station and asked the attendant, an older gentleman, "Where is the local taxidermist?"
"What's a taxidermist?" replied the attendant.
"They mount animals." replied the hunter.
"Oh," said the attendant, "We call those guys sheep herders."
