Stupid Guest Tricks

First of all the real me has another log in on this site but wanted to remain anonymous on this question.

My DH likes to cross dress and his ultimate dream would be to be able to wear an Alice dress to Disneyworld. He has mobility problems and so will be in a wheelchair for most of the time and at other times will be walking with a walking stick. So no real way the kids could confuse him as the real Alice.

Do you think we would be allowed into MNSSHP with him as Alice and me wearing a Minnie Mouse dress which I made myself.

We are staying on Disney Property so would be using the buses to get there as well.

Not sure about being "allowed", but we are going down during Gay Days in May/June. He'd probably fit in better then rather than Halloween.

I'm no expert in any way,but seems to me on Halloween,you should be able to dress as any character you wish :) (as long as it meets not too scary or revealing Disney guidelines......)

Disney has guidelines on revealing. I'm cancelling my next trip. That's half the reason I go in summer, so I can see the 20 and 30 somethings running around in "summer" clothes. :D:

Honestly I have a distinct feeling that you will have trouble as soon as you attempt to pass bag check. No disrespect intended, but I don't believe Disney officials would want a cross dresser in the park exposed to children. Especially in an Alice costume. Could confuse the young ins'.

While it may be a preference for him, at Halloween you can't really label him publicly as a "cross dresser". Fer crissakes, it's Halloween! Lots of people dress up as the opposite sex for that. Was the OP's real question whether he would be allowed to be dressed as Alice in the parks. From reading here it's not allowed to impersonate a character. He wouldn't be doing that any more than the OP would be in a homemade Minnie costume.

But what do I know?

Ummm, he would not be first CD for a costume at party. As long as it is in good taste and kinda campy, bring it on.

Please remember to use the primary gender restroom or companion restroom and all will be good.

Come on y'all. Milton Berle did it for YEARS. Seeing a man dressed as a woman is just FUNNY. I think Halloween is the prefect time to dress "differently".

You know, I remember when my son and I were at a MNSSHP last year, I saw a group of men who were all dressed as princesses (Jasmine, Ariel, etc).

To the OP, I think your husband will be fine. :)
