Stupid Guest Tricks

so i went to go reapply at DL, and they tell me i have a "no-rehire" status, even though when i left i gave 2 weeks notice. I guess it's the turnover rate but anyway, does anyone here know of a sure-fire way of filling out this petition so that i can get back in?

Contact the union, I would think that'd be your best bet. If you left voluntarily and gave the proper two weeks notice then you should not have been given a no-rehire status.

Unless, of course, that while you were there or while you were leaving you managed to totally tick off a manager, lead, etc. and they really don't want you back. That is a chance you are taking. If you cannot honestly think of anything you did, while there, to upset the apple cart then the above suggestions is probably a good one.

I would take that as a sign not to go back. Seriously, when Disney screwed me last year, every place I applied for after the SJ they pulled turned me down. After months, I finally got a spot with Kodak and Kennedy Space Center.

If not as a sign, then take the time to read the crap with the Union vs Disney. Disney (as far as the theme parks) is NOT the place to be working right now. No matter what passion you have for working there.

It sounds like it's time to move on. Trying to find out why be just an academic exercise as even if there is an error or someone had it in for you, there still wouldn't be an opportunity to be rehired.

If you do find out the no rehire is effecting other job opportunities then it is time to take action.

Call TDA & make an appt to view your perm rec. file. There will be a CM with you to explain the status.
