My SGT moment

Four years ago (12-27-06 to 1-2-07) I took my husband's family to the world for the first time for all of them. This meant all of the responsibility was on my shoulders, including my bipolar sister in law. She would not see a show or ride at all because she was convinced someone was going to steal her son's stroller and refused to leave it. Even after I offered to buy her a new one if it got stollen. Well by new years day I was fed up with everyone and everything. We had breakfast at CRT and that's where I snapped.
I look much younger than I am to the point that at 27 now I can appear to be as young as 12. Well that day the host had the table set up with a sword (for my nephew) and a wand (for me) plus two "wishing stars". During breakfast they have a ceremony about the wishing stars (girls are suppose to use it to do good deeds on and boys are suppose to protect with the sword) where they ask the kids to wave the wands and swords. Snow White comes up behind me and asks why I am not waving my wand. The first words out of my mouth were, "look Ms. White I am 23 freaking years old, I am responsible for everyone in my party, and I am sick of being treated like a child but expected to be an adult. There is no alcohol in this park and I feel to old for this magic crap." To her credit she was just as quick to say "your never to old to believe in magic." She was right too because she moved on to my 8 month old nephew, who was waving his sword and he beaned Snow with it when she bent down to kiss his forehead. And my sister in law caught it on camera with still shots! None of us including Snow White laughed quite as hard in a long time.
By the way these comments are not typical of me. I am the red headed lady in the wheelchair at Disney World that competes with younger siblings and/or nieces and nephews for weirdest character signatures, who can meet the most Mickeys in one trip, etc. I love it. It sort of embarrasses my husband but I "know" some of the characters since we have come at least once every year since I was 11 years old. Yep I am now a DVC member and an AP. But I promise I try to be on my best behavior. Oh and I am not entitled to anything.
