"Stand Clear" does not mean we're open!

So during one of the last weekends of the season my ride went down (as it always does) and we had trains stranded on our transfer track and our brake area. We begin to pull the stranded trains back into the station (starting with the train on the transfer).
Before the trains start moving our booth operator goes on the station all call and simply says "stand clear" so that our attendants on the station that was about to have the train backed into it knew it was reversing in. Anyway for whatever reason all the guests on my station (we have a dual loading station) instantly think we are no open because of the "stand clear" that was said on the mic. The trains weren't even moving yet and my station is alreadly clapping and cheering. Of course this spreads over to the other station and know we have a station full of SG's clapping like crazy for absolutley nothing.
In order to keep from filling them with too much false hope I go and grab the mic on my station and do my nice little technical difficulties spiel, of course adding extra emphasis on "Attention all guests waiting in line, we are STILL experiencing some minor technical difficulties at this time!" etc. blah blah blah. The wave of happiness and clapping quickly turns into a louder wave of boos coming from just about every person in the station.
I just find it funny how fast SG-ness can spread! and what made someone think the words "Stand clear" translated into, hey guys we're open. Ah well, anyone else have anything like this happen to them? I'm sure its happened quite a bit.
