it's because they didn't offer carrey enoght money to do another mask movie.
so they tried to make a new mask story, with kennedy and you see what happened. needless to say, the mask franchise is dead.

no I think Newline had it.
I don't think Disney likes the Dark Horse comic series.

Yep, Son of The Mask was one of those sequels that never needed to be made. Like SuperBabies: Baby Geniuses 2.
