Stupid Guest Tricks

Alright, I need to rant. I hope that this thread isn't out of line.

A few days ago, on one of the X boards (with members that are known to be "chatters") Someone posted a picture of the just re-opened and renovated Disney Clothiers store on Main Street at Disneyland.
They all whined and nagged about how they felt that the store had lost its Victorian feel because the walls looked very plain in the picture. They proceeded to wax poetically about how the park has gone to the dogs using sarcasm and cynicism.

What's worse, the few people that said that they still liked the store, were mocked and attacked because they had a different opinion. (VERY typical of this board.)

What these morons didn't realize is that they jumped the gun (as usual). The picture had been taken during a soft opening. (Which is something I suspected from the start) These idiots didn't even stop to consider that the cosmetic wall elements hadn't been added yet.

I was at DL yesterday and I can say that the store DOES now have Victorian props and themeing on the walls. It looks great.

So, as usual these morons from that board jumped to hasty, cynical conclusions.

I'm not a member there, and I don't plan to start now.

Besides, they will figure it out sooner or later. Its not about throwing it in their face, its about knowing that they panicked over nothing and will eventually find out the truth.

I don't make a habit out of looking at that site. The only reason I saw their discussion was through a twitter link.

I apologize for ranting, but I just had to mention it, I've also mentioned it on Twitter. They will catch on. (Hopefully)

I just find it amusing (and frustrating) how they will jump to such conclusions and fear the worst.

Discussions whose sole purpose is to bitch about discussion sites have no place here. Sorry.
