Wanted: Sign painter. Spelling skills not required.



SOUTH BEND, Indiana -- What a difference one letter can make. A huge billboard promoting public schools in South Bend, Indiana was missing a very important "L."

Thousands of people drove past the sign, which read: "15 best things about our pubic schools."

It was supposed to say "public."

Drivers alerted school officials of the spelling error.

The sign was put up Thursday by the Blue Waters Group, a company that does promotion work for the city.

The company's president said four people looked at the sign when it was completed and none noticed the error.

Eye am sew their. I'll even bring my coaster and pante brushs. :D:

I'm originally from Indiana and I don't see anything wrong with the sign. I would venture to say it was accurate.

There is nothing wrong with the Sign. It is a promotion to attract Gynecology/Urology Specialists ;)
