Otho will not be down for breakfast....

A Friend told me this morning that Actor Glenn Shadix, who played Otho in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice and the voice of the Mayor in The Nightmare Before Christmas,died last Tuesday after a fall....He was only 58 :(

That sucks. :( Scary too,he was only 2yrs older than I am.
Kevin McCarthy also passed away at 96. He was in the original "Invasion of the Body Snatchers".
(that movie scared the hell outta me when I first saw it.)

Otho was a great character in one of my favorite movies! RIP.

I remember that was the first scary movie i saw that when it ended with him jumping on the truck, and seeing the pods, that you realized it wasn't over!!!

Kevin McCarthy was also the evil owner of the big, crosstown rival to UHF Channel 62 in "UHF." I loved the scene where the little old lady knees him in the groin! :twisted:
