Oh wait, that was Nerds II :p:
I actually saw a couple of shirts on our last trip that said "Frack....(whatever)". I thought it was (maybe) a little inappropraite, but I still laughed. You gotta give it to the writer's at SciFi (yes, I know they changed they'e name....I refuse to be led down that path!)...."frack" was ingenious!

Actually the term "Frack" was used in the original Battlestar Galactica. It was carried over to the new version spelled "Frak."DragonFox98 wrote:Yes, but that was still a funny bit!!!!

I listen to radio station KRAP, all over your dial.

Once upon a time, long long ago, in a far distant part of the country, I knew a group who called themselves KRAP.hobie16 wrote:I listen to radio station KRAP, all over your dial.
They had an FM transmitter set to 87.9, a 120-foot extension tower, and a broadcast schedule that was dictated by the density of the local fog.
Not exactly a professional-quality bootleg station, but they did air a lot of music that was, at the time, slightly illegal and entirely unlikely to be heard on commercial radio.
Never did get caught. Last I heard, they found space in the basement of the Pasadena Presbyterian Church and turned legit....

For nerd movies, I'd go with "Real Genius." There's a female character (Jordan) who is a nerd herself! It was really nice to see a woman whose sole character note isn't just that she's female - she's hyperactive, a compulsive knitter, insanely smart, a little bit awkward, and very charming. Actual character traits! Yay! Also, not just a sex object! More yay!Mayonnaise wrote:Misogynistic? Yes. Very? Ironically, the actress who played Jordan, Michelle Meyrink, was also in Revenge of the Nerds, as Judy, one of the female nerds.Amphigorey wrote:For nerd movies, I'd go with "Real Genius."
