This is funny, read the Dog story. sounds like a dog I had.

Holy crap!!!! I think that lady is blogging about my grandparent's (and therefore, my) old German Sheppard. King was just sooooo stupid (loveable and soft as all can be, but stupid).

An example:
We came home one day and couldn't find him. "King", we called out. "King!". Soon, we hear faint whining from somewhere above us. We go up to my room...no King. We call for him again. We hear whining...again...above us. I look up into the attic. He is actually on the opposite side of the stairs, the poor thing was shaking..... He couldn't figure out how to get back on the correct side in order to go down the stairs; he was stuck looking down from a height. I felt so bad for him. We had a laugh, but I made sure he couldn't "explore" in my room after that.
