iPhone 4 reception at WDW

I am considering getting my iPhone 4 before my trip to WDW. Has anyone noticed a difference in reception with a 4 vs a 3G on property? It was not great with my 3G last time I was there, and if it will be worse with the 4, I think I will wait till after my trip to upgrade.

I have had the 3 G and 3Gs on property with full bars at all times, so I am expecting in 16 days to have the same great service with my 4!!! Never once any problems at all.

Good to know. Back in December I found that I had no bars at all in my room at Coronado. If I went out by the lake it was half strength.

Signal strength varies greatly by company. Some have excellent coverage, some not so good. Verizon now has an excellent presence, thanks to their cooperative software program. AT&T is weak or absent on most of the property.

In fact, the AT&T sales team was a no-show for a cast even today, so I'm pretty negative about them right now.

I have used my cell phone at Disneyland. I know at the Plaza Inn, inside the phone system dies. I have learned if you are in Fantasyland, your phone works great. But then again, it depends who you have. Verizon Wireless. I have an old phone (about 4 years old).

My provider, Rogers is partnered with AT&T, which explains the lousy coverage I experienced on property.

I would not normally worry about reception, but I am in talks to sort out my next gig at the moment, and might need to be available for another phone interview while at WDW.

I didn't have any issues with my 3G @ WDW, I'm sure the 4 will do just fine. If you want to fund an expedition trip for me and my "staff", I'll test it out and give you a full report :D:

We'll even test this with an additional iPhone 4, just in case one is wacky ;)

wow, when I go to DLR or WDW, I make it a point to shut down the electronic leashes.

I figure that if its that important, they will leave a message.
