They did. About 3$ a day for the multi day tickets and 3$ each for the park hopper and waterpark options. By buying our tickets 2 weeks ago I saved nearly 100$. I'd heard a rumour of the increase, and the Disney store had already increased their ticket prices. The CM at the store told us we were much better off to buy online than from the store. I think the increase goes into effect Aug 5.

Eh, our passes are good til Dec 28. I've finally convinced Hubby on wisdom of letting them expire, then we extend renewal date til the next time we go. $20.00 savings not inspiring enough to keep same renewal date

My grandfather has decided to not renew his pass. Which is a huge freaking deal for me because he's had a pass for my grandmother (Who's been with Walt for many years, may you continue to rest in peace), myself (Until I became a CM, until last month) and himself since roughly 1988, give or take a few years.
Now that he's no one to go with, he just doesn't want to go. It's a shame what Disney World has done to the two of us in the last month.

Well, they'll get our money no longer. But, they've gotta jack up the prices every year. They've gotta have a cash flow for Fantasyland II and Adventureland II somehow. . . .

The sad part is,they'll dump 4.6 Billion $$ on Marvel,(I know it's their $$ and it's for the 'entertainment dept'),yet they claim to need more $$. (Stock holders I suppose) I lucked out on my last trip havin 'someone' ;) show mercy on me. Of course the price of a one day ticket went up 3 weeks before I got there. Still wanna bring the g-kids back some day.

We went through the YES program (open enrollment) for our tickets this year. Kiddos and DH loved their technology class and want to try another one (yay, return trip!) again soon. Without YES, we couldn't have gotten the PH and WPM options, so it was an amazing value for us.
I love WDW but it's really, really hard to do with a large family. Even with using our timeshare and getting discounted tickets through YES, we still spent nearly $5,000. On the other hand, my kids got to experience the magic that I remember so well from my own childhood, so it was money well spent.
