I get your drift.

If you guys would stop putting pennies and forks in the light sockets this wouldn't happen.

Oh... That's what's causing that tingling feeling. I never saw the link before! :p:

Edited to put "saw the link" instead of "made the connection." It's scary when the puns flow without conscious intent. :o:

(((((((Doc))))))))

Sorry I didn't get to see you while I was in town, my friend, I still owe you that lunch sometime! You go right ahead and vent as much as you need to/feel you can here.

Should have left it the way it was. That there is comedy gold!

Thanks Bru...

As an update to the story.. i saw an old friend at the mouse... and he explained that the driver was not touching the breaker box... but had his hand on the mic stand and reached to change the beacon light ( top colored strobe light ) when he completed a low voltage circuit. it caused minor damage to him ( numb arm and what not )

I dont know the voltage used to power the strobe.... i don know from experiance that if you hold onto thge rotator arm in the passanger area of the train and grab a metal railing at a station.. you will get a 24 volt shock... used to do it for fun =-)

Hope all is well with the CM, hate to say this, but please take back your props from Orlando Slantinel. I not only saw it on their breaking news, text alert and at the bottom of the page they dredged up the ESPNWWoS incident from last week as well as last years monorail.

Media today is sensationalized junk. The minor shock is not newsworthy.

Ahhhh, the old get shocked from the mic trick. The root cause is the two devices are out of phase with each other. A number of guitar players have either been seriously injured or killed by same problem. A good roadie will test all the guitars and mics before letting the musicians on stage. The easy fix is flipping the phase switch on the guitar amp.

The monorail operator was damn lucky he wasn't severely injured.

Another reason why I play drums.
